Sebastian Jung is a freelance illustrator and communication designer based in Düsseldorf, represented by the agency Wildfoxrunning. His work is defined by a playful, colorful, and unconventional style. Recently, he has been shifting back toward a more analog, handcrafted approach.
Throughout his life, he repeatedly encountered others with the exact same name, Sebastian Jung – from classmates to a well‑known German footballer – causing constant confusion. To establish a distinct artistic identity, he created Studio Ayuhara. The name Ayuhara originates from the volleyball anime Attack No.1, whose main character he admired as a child. It also reflects his deep connection to Japanese culture, which is an integral part of daily life in Düsseldorf, home to Germany’s largest Japanese community.
